COLLECTOR CAR.....FLAWLESS 810 miles No. 2 of 50 produced One of only five produced with a 5-speed manual transmission 4.6L V-8 engine with Roush supercharger High flow K&N air filter Magnaflow stainless exhaust Rated at 435 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque Adjustable suspension Wilwood disc brake system Unique White and Gold finish White leather upholstery with embroidered Hurst logo Shaker audio system Power windows, top, locks and seats Ford SYNC system 20 inch polished forged aluminum wheels This supercharged 2010 Mustang convertible is the second of 50 Pace Car replicas built by Hurst Performance to commemorate the Pace Car used at the 2009 Ford Racing Mustang Challenge. Adding to its rarity is the fact that it is one of just five of the 50 made with a 5-speed manual transmission, controlled (of course) by a Hurst shifter with a distinctive wood-grain handle. That 5-speed is joined to the Mustang’s 4.6L V-8, which was upgraded with a Roush Roots-style supercharger, high-flow K&N intake and Magnaflow stainless-steel exhaust system. In stock trim, the 2010 Mustang’s 4.6L V-8 made 315 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque; with the Roush blower and other modifications, output grew significantly to 435 HP and 400 lb-ft of torque. To manage all that power, Hurst beefed up the Mustang’s chassis with an adjustable suspension and mounted Wilwood disc brakes at all corners. The Mustang’s connection to the road is via low-profile BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW radials mounted to 20-inch 5-spoke forged aluminum wheels, with the center spokes wearing Hurst’s traditional gold color. More Hurst gold accents the convertible’s white paint with stripes over the hood and on the Hurst rear decklid spoiler. Hurst emblems decorate the Mustang’s front fenders, white leather upholstery, floor mats and the plaque on the dash bearing the car’s Hurst Pace Car serial number. Hurst may have modified the Mustang for speed, but it didn’t do so at the expense of interior comfort and appointments. The convertible top is power operated, as are the windows, seats and door locks. Ford’s SYNC infotainment system is on board, as is a powerful Shaker audio system. Collectors take note: This Pace Car replica has traveled a mere 315 miles, and its radiator shroud panel bears the autographs of several Hurst executives.
